A shooting has left this saturday at least five injured In the town of hagen, in western Germany, and the alleged author has fled, as reported by the North Rhine-Westphalia Police. Among the injured is the attacker’s wife, a pregnant woman shot in the head.

According to the newspaper Bild, the shooting originated in a sixth-floor apartment on Hochstraße in the Eilpe district, where several shots were fired. The individual then went up to the seventh floor and shot up to six times through a locked door. No one was injured there.

The man drove his car shortly after to a hair salon to two kilometers awaywhere he shot four other people.

The Police are searching with several officers and drones for the alleged aggressor throughout the town, where a rescue helicopter landed to treat the injured.

“According to the first information, the crime could be a case of violence in the family. We continue trying to clarify the circumstances,” the institution explained through its social networks.

The Police have also requested “Do not spread speculation or rumors on the networks” but wait for official information to be communicated.

Second attack in two days

This event occurred just 24 hours after Afghan asylum seeker stabs group of anti-Islam militants in Mannheim (southwest Germany) leaving six injured, including a police officer who tried to arrest the aggressor.

The aggressor is hospitalized and has not yet been able to give a statement, but presupposes an Islamist motivation.
