The Argentine Foreign Ministry carried out a mission to Brazil to promote projects in the area of ​​sports

A delegation from the Argentine Foreign Ministry, headed by the National Director of International Promotion Strategies, Alejandro Rodríguez, traveled to São Paulo, Brazil, in order to explore promotion strategies in the area of ​​sports and seek financing of Brazilian capital especially for sports programs and infrastructure in Argentina.

The Argentine mission was made up of Adriana Nofal, who is an Olympic academic and President of the Misión Deportiva Foundation, as well as Verónica Palazzini and Joaquín Pereyra, both representatives of the Association of Highway Tourism Corridors (ACTC).

Accompanied by officials from the Argentine Consulate in São Paulo, led by Luis María Kreckler, the Argentine delegation also met with the National Consortium of São Paulo UNIFISA and representatives of the ACTC to enable the financing of two Road Tourism Races in Brazilian territory. In this sense, they discussed the opportunity for competitions to be held annually in our sister country in the category calendar, and the conditions were created for bilateral exchanges of pilots and technical personnel.

The Argentines also had a fruitful meeting with Kennya Guimaraes, General Manager of MKT Producciones, the main event organization company in Brazil, to discuss the articulation of private sports brands and the Road Tourism Corridors association in 2023.

Adriana Nofal gave a technical presentation to potential investors on sports programs and infrastructure in Argentina, in which she explained the importance and impact on sports development of the construction of a High Performance Athlete Evaluation Laboratory that will allow them to gain knowledge about the health and potential of our elite athletes.

Based on the efforts of the consulate, contacts were generated with companies in the health sector with the aim of contributing to the equipment of the High Performance Athlete Evaluation Laboratory and links were consolidated with different public and private institutions in order to favor the strategies of promotion in the sports area.

At the closing of the trade mission, they met with the representative group of the financial center of São Paulo, consultant and adviser of Family Patrimony of Brazilian businessmen with investment orientation in bilateral productive developments.
