The Vice Foreign Minister of Argentina, Pablo Tettamanti, received a delegation of parliamentarians who make up the House of Representatives of Indonesia, with the aim of strengthening the bilateral link and promoting South-South cooperation ties. It happened on the 4th of July.
According to the Argentine Foreign Ministry, during the meeting several of the central issues of the bilateral relationship were reviewed, including the significant economic exchange between both nations and the existing potential to deepen technical cooperation, in view of the complementarity between both economies.
They discussed the search for new tools to promote a greater flow of trade and a diversification of the goods and services exchanged, as well as an intensification of bilateral investments.
On the occasion, the task of Indonesia in its current presidency of the G20 was also highlighted, highlighting the coincidences regarding the central themes and objectives proposed for the current year, as well as the opportunities that arise to project the interests of developing countries. at the center of the international agenda.

Likewise, other coincidences were highlighted in the multilateral sphere, where both countries share complementary visions on the importance of world peace and economic stability for the development of intermediate economies, on the importance of fulfilling the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development, respect and support for the mechanisms of multilateralism, humanitarian assistance and South-South Cooperation, among other issues.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Tettamanti thanked the parliamentarians for the Indonesian support in the search for a negotiated and peaceful solution to the sovereignty dispute that exists between Argentina and the United Kingdom in the matter of the Malvinas Islands.
