Soon the manufacturers of processors for PCs will have to launch the series for notebooks of this new generation. Until the presentation of these arrives, we are learning some details through leaks and tests carried out that appear online. This time we have been able to see the AMD Ryzen 5 7725HSa processor that is not included in the series presented by AMD for portable devices and that, thanks to the new nomenclature, we know that it has zen 2 cores and it should belong to the AMD Ryzen 7 family.
This AMD Ryzen 7725HS has a configuration of 8 cores and 16 threads with a base frequency of 2.9 GHz but that can reach up to 4.3GHz. Since it has Zen 2 cores in the system, it has been recognized as AMD Renoir, but AMD had only presented for this generation Ryzen 7000 with Zen 2 cores the Mendocino, called Ryzen 7×20.
The score obtained in the single-core test is 1,106 pointswhile that of the multi-core test goes up to 6,929 points. A score comparable to 4000 series notebook processors that also had Zen 2 cores.
Once again it is confirmed that AMD will launch in this new generation Ryzen 7000 Series processors with 3 different architecturesZen2, Zen3 and Zen4.
