The amounts that the Treasury renounces for these stimuli are close to the budgets of one year to attend to the services of Higher Secondary Education, also those of Higher Education, or to the corresponding one for one year of Contributions to the states and municipalities, the Budget states. of Expenditures of the Federation 2024.
“These stimuli have worked well, we have seen that the collection has been efficient, and especially in these differentiated VAT rates, no fraud has been detected that could indicate that the stimulus as such has not worked. In addition, it has encouraged this border strip to carry out more operations and with this there will be more economy and more collection,” commented Victor Manuel Cámara Flores, president of the Fiscal Commission of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP).
According to information from the Tax Administration Service, these incentives are provided in the following municipalities:
Baja California: Ensenada, Rosarito Beaches, Tijuana, Tecate, Mexicali, San Felipe and San Quintín.
Sonora: San Luis Río Colorado, Puerto Peñasco, General Plutarco Elías Calles, Caborca, Altar, Sáric, Nogales, Santa Cruz, Cananea, Naco and Agua Prieta.
Chihuahua: Janos, Ascensión, Juárez, Praxedis G. Guerrero, Guadalupe, Coyame del Sotol, Ojinaga and Manuel Benavides.
Coahuila de Zaragoza: Ocampo, Acuña, Zaragoza, Jiménez, Piedras Negras, Nava, Guerrero and Hidalgo.
New Leon: Anahuac.
Tamaulipas: Nuevo Laredo, Guerrero, Mier, Miguel Alemán, Camargo, Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, Reynosa, Río Bravo, Valle Hermoso and Matamoros.
