It seems that NVIDIA itself is not very interested in promoting the new variant of the RTX 4060 Ti with 16 GB of memory after the launch of the 8 GB version. Therefore, it is difficult to see performance results from these models.
Now it has been MSI who has published a video where they show their own benchmarks comparing the performance of their 16 GB RTX 4060 Ti GAMING X SLIM against 8 GB variants Released a few weeks ago.
What is most striking is that these results show that, in general, the 16 GB variant of the RTX 4060 Ti offers less performance than the 8 GB model. The video in question was available in this link, but as of the writing of this news, it seems that MSI has hidden it by moving it to private mode.
In games like cyberpunk 2077 In Ultra quality with Raytracing, the 8 GB model achieves an average of 91.4 FPS, while the 16 GB variant stays at 90.56 FPS.
