He asked all the agencies to drain the water as quickly as possible and lend a hand to everyone who needed it.
Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha led a group of cabinet members and government officials to Wat Saeng Siri Tham in Tha It sub-district. This community has been submerged under water for several weeks.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Minister of the Interior, Gen Anupong Paochinda, the Minister of Economy and Digital Society, Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, and the Minister of Justice, Suchart Chomklin.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister instructed the relevant agencies to collaborate in helping all those affected, especially children, the elderly and the sick who require immediate attention.

The government is willing to support the mitigation effort as local agencies speed up the drainage of water to mitigate the impact of the flood.
