Telegram works to strengthen the security of an account by allowing you to add an email address, which will also be requested whenever a user tries to log in from a new device.
So far, the instant messaging ‘app’ only allows to add a phone number when creating an account, verifying it, and signing in to it from a new device.
Now the reverse engineering expert Alessandro Paluzzi has advanced in Twitter that Telegram works on an extra layer of security for the accounts of its users.
#Telegram is working on the ability to protect your account by adding your email address ???? Alternatively you can sign in with #Google pic.twitter.com/kbGi9gM6rD

Paluzzi reveals that it will allow adding an email address associated with the Telegram account. From that moment on, the ‘app’ will request it from anyone who intends to log in to it from another device to prevent potential unauthorized access.
As an alternative, the engineer has also pointed out that the ‘app’ works on allowing login through a Google account.
