Wayra brings together 200 investors in Madrid with a portfolio of 120,000 million

Telefónica Seguros and Wayra have launched this week during the investor day of the project accelerator Íope Ventures, a new vehicle that will invest up to 200,000 euros in fintech and insurtech startups.
Telefónica has presented the project to more than 200 investors from Spain, France, Portugal, the United Kingdom and the United States, who have a portfolio of 120,000 million dollars (practically the same amount in euros), according to a statement.
The new vehicle will have a two-year journey to materialize its investments in the financial sector and meet its goal of participating in at least fifteen startups.
At the event held, Crossmint, Indya, Ezzing, YBVR, Kubbo, Champion Games, Rosita, Gimme Radio and Qoala, startups invested by Wayra, presented their projects to investors.
Among the investors attending, funds such as Softbank, Notion Capital, Indico Partners, Kfund, Draper B1, Adara, JME, Bstartup de Sabadell, Faraday Venture Partners, Kibo Ventures or Seaya Ventures stand out.
