TeamGroup P845-M30: An SSD up to 1 TB in compact M.2 2230 format



It new from TeamGroup are their SSD M.2 P845-M30 with a compact M.2 form factor of just 22mm x 30mm (M.2 2230). Despite their small size, these solid-state drives offer capacities of up to 1TB, starting from a minimum of 256GB. In all cases it uses the PCI Express 4.0 x4 (NVMe 1.4) interface.

The Team Group P845-M30 integrate memories 3D NAND flash made up of 112 stacked layersalong with them, the company has used page mapping technology to extend their useful life and improve random access speeds.

Its application ranges from compact equipment with limited space to machinery and computers for industrial use or for harsh environments, in fact, the P845-M30 withstand temperatures ranging from -40ºC to 85ºC, within this range, the SSD will be able to work normally. To keep temperatures under control, an ultra-thin graphene sheet is used as dissipation.

At the moment there are no details about its availability and price, although everything seems to indicate that they will be exclusive to professional distribution channels, since they are aimed at very specific equipment and far from conventional home PCs.
