Supported by MOFA’s Department of International Affairs, Taiwanese NGOs held numerous large-scale meetings and activities with participants from all over the world this year.
Among them, the third edition of the Asia-Pacific International Symposium 2023 of Business and Professional Women, by the International Federation of Business and Professional Women of Taiwan; and the 38th World Veterinary Association Congress, held in Taipei City by the Taiwan Veterinary Medical Association.
According to MOFA, more international events from NGOs such as the Garden of Hope Foundation, the Taiwan Judges Association, the Taiwan Alliance for International Development and the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy are scheduled this year.

The government is also striving to create a favorable environment for international NGOs to establish branches in Taiwan, the MOFA said, adding that the ministry will continue to work with NGOs to promote Taiwan’s international involvement and raise its global profile in Taiwan. various fields.
