Aug. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least three Syrian soldiers have died and six others have been injured as a result of a bombing allegedly perpetrated by Turkish aviation in the Aleppo area, in northern Syria, according to the official SANA news agency.
The agency, citing a military source, assures that Turkish forces have bombed several targets of the Syrian Army, which in turn would have responded to the “aggression” with attacks that would have caused personal and material damage.
Damascus accuses Ankara of using “terrorist groups” to carry out its operations in northern Syria, where Turkey maintains an operation to contain the alleged threat from Kurdish groups.
On the other hand, other sources have assured that a Turkish offensive in the Raqqa area has claimed the lives of four civilians, while another five have been injured. According to SANA, several residential areas have been hit with heavy weapons.
