According to World Bank estimates, it is estimated that around 450 billion euros to carry out the complete reconstruction of Ukraine once the fight is over.

Since the start of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the Swiss Confederation has persistently supported projects aimed at the rehabilitation of infrastructure, energy and health, as well as the reconstruction of roads and public thoroughfares that have been devastated.

On the other hand, unlike other Western countries, Switzerland has not provided military aid to kyiv, since neutrality is one of the fundamental pillars of Swiss foreign policy. This policy prohibits the country from participating in armed conflicts and joining military alliances. Since 1815, Switzerland has been officially recognized by the international community of states as a neutral country.
