(Of interest: Deadline for the Creg to regulate a measure that would lower energy rates is running out)

For this reason, cuts began to be applied that have an effect on more than 190,000 users, whose debts exceed $1 billion.

The eight points of agreement begin with the fact that Mayors who decide to join the negotiation to partially or totally suspend the Continuity Periodswill express their willingness to effectively assume a portion of the monthly energy collection from substandard neighborhoods and Difficult Management Zones. Mayors will have 10 business days to sign the agreement, after which the cuts will be suspendedbut will resume if a final agreement is not reached.

Secondly it was agreed that Between July 25 and August 5 the company will suspend the cuts and during this periodA path of improvement with weekly evaluation will be defined for each circuit and energy area collection on Mondays, whose periodic compliance will guarantee that said measure of limiting the supply of energy is not applied“.
