Scotland’s chief minister, Nicola Sturgeon, on Wednesday urged the British House of Commons to resume plenary sessions and end the recess in the face of what she considers to be a “rapidly deteriorating economic crisis” in the country.
Sturgeon has indicated that he branded as “extraordinary” the idea that the Bank of England had to intervene in an emergency to “reduce the damage caused by government policies.”
