The Sun is one of the most energetic entities in our Solar System. Its power is so great that the effect it can have on humans on Earth when exposed to its rays is documented. One of the recommendations to avoid injuries in real life is not to look directly at the Sun and a developer study has just curiously recommended not to do this… within a video game.
The Microsoft Xbox Game Pass service welcomed last Thursday, July 14, PowerWash Simulator, a simulation title that allows players to enjoy cleaning things with a device that shoots water under pressure. The simulator seems to offer an unusual relaxation experience, but a problem related to the Sun has just appeared.

Do not look at the Sun, neither in real life nor in PowerWash Simulator!
Some Xbox users who did not hesitate to try the title as soon as it came to Xbox Game Pass found a major bug in the game that occurred when looking directly at the Sun: the game crashed if they were playing with other people through multiplayer.
It goes without saying that this singular problem drew attention and the developer in charge of the project, FuturLab, was quick to recognize it and took advantage of the official account of the game to reveal that the cause of the problem is, in effect, the Sun, precisely the reflections or lens flares projecting onto the screen.
FuturLab assured that it is already working on a solution and a little later it commented that it has already identified the cause and that it is working on the solution, which it hopes will be available at the end of next week. The study, meanwhile, recommended not looking directly at the Sun and moving at the same time, which seems to be the cause of the problem.
An Xbox hotfix is on the way and we hope to have it out by the end of next week! Sorry all. We caught it last second and will get it to you all as quickly as we possibly can! ?? https://t.co/sjRomOq9U9
