Despite reports that it had closed its doors after the resounding failure of The Day Beforethe developer studio came back out of nowhere. Through a publication on social networks, he expressed his intention to regain the trust of the players.
Through its official website, the company presented the initiative Fantastic 2.0with which they commit to being more transparent and honest with the community. In addition, the developers explained their new plan with which they promise to solve their past mistakes and, in general, be better.
“Everyone deserves a second chance. We deeply apologize to everyone for The Day Before and we take responsibility for what happened,” the studio said. His return will be accompanied by a new project, but he will need the support of the community to materialize it.
The new Fntastic video game is Escape Factoryan experience cooperative multiplayer for up to 8 players in which we play as “workers tired of life who try to escape the vicious circle of deadly factories from which there is no way out.”
The studio launched a campaign Kickstarter with which it seeks to finance development with the support of the community. The goal is $15,000 USDand currently has already raised $9844 with the help of 27 people. In a post on their social networks, they state that, if they do not complete the fundraising goal, they will refund the money to all those who made a contribution.
“We understand that we disappointed the audience and it is a shame that we could not keep our promises. The gaming industry is complex and we learned it the hard way. Now, we learned from our past mistakes and changed our policy and we want to do everything right,” Fntastic said in response to a user.
