Last year was a very special one for Konami, as it not only reminded that it continues to make attractive games for the West, but also announced the return of silent hill and, more surprisingly, Suikoden. The announcement of the double remaster did not anticipate the release date, but it seems that fans should not wait too long to play it.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars surprised locals and strangers at Tokyo Game Show 2022, as it will mark the return of Konami’s RPG franchise after decades without a new installment.
Best of all, fans wouldn’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on it, as it would debut sometime in 2023. Konami hasn’t shared any more details on its release, but it looks like the game will be ready sooner than expected. what did you expect

When will the remaster debut? Suikoden?
We say this because an online record from a European video game store has just come to light that reveals that the game will go on sale next March and best of all, there will be a physical version for the West, at least for Europe, which would cost €40 EUR.
According to the clue, courtesy of the store fnac, the game was going to debut on March 3. We speak in the past tense because the record shortly changed to March 9. This is interesting because the unofficial SteamDB database revealed that the game would debut on March 2, 2023 on this platform (before in November it was changed to the provisional date of December 31, 2023, which coincides with the above. Said this, apparently Konami would be planning a launch for March.
In case you missed it: creatives of Suikoden they want to make a whole new game in the series.
As some fans have pointed out in the post on ResetEra, Fnac is a major video game store chain in Europe, so they believe in the veracity of the record and consider that it would be a matter of time for Konami to confirm the details. However, we invite you not to take this information as confirmation, since the Japanese company has not commented further on it.
