Steamhe Valve PC game client wants to completely redesign the interface visible during games. Through this interface some useful options during games, such as chat with other users and some resources for the current game. With the last update From its Beta version for Windows, Valve has also introduced some changes that are not visible to the user, such as the way to exchange the code between the Steam desktop client, the Big Picture mode and the Steam Deck.
The interface within the games, perhaps the most striking change that has been introduced has completely changed. Now this interface is more than just a quick way to open chat with other Steam users, they have added new features like a new toolbar which will give you access to achievements, guides, and even surf the internet. These tools are placed by default, but you can change them according to your preferences. You can also consult within this interface the summary of that game, with data such as achievements, friends, news and guides.
Within each game will also be available the notes app, so you can make your notes that will be saved with each game. This application also uses a rich text format and allows you to create multiple notes for each game. They will also be visible in the library, when we select that specific game.
Other important changes outside of this new interface are in steam notifications, which have become more extensive and useful. has also been completely redesigned the screenshot manager, with a better response and the possibility to choose between seeing the captures in large or small size. It also allows you to see the most recent ones or sort them by games.
Remember that these changes are available in Beta version and that are not currently visible to users with the stable version of Steam for PC. Surely will be introduced later when they check its proper functioning and fix the possible errors that may cause.
