Starfield hasn't debuted yet, but a player already "reviewed" it and gave it 0 on Metacritic

There are still several months to go before Starfield be in our hands; however, one player managed to “review” it and get its rating up on Metacritic. It all happened on June 13, when the user Joppsta360 somehow managed to upload his review and give the expected Bethesda game a 0.

As you probably already know, Metacritic does not allow you to post reviews so many days in advance. On the other hand, it accepts player reviews only once the title is officially available on the market. Fortunately, the site has already taken care of the matter and removed the unfortunate review.

Someone put a 0 on it Starfield before its premiere

For now, it is not clear how Joppsta360 managed to upload a review on the page of Starfield for PC months after its release. Everything indicates that it was a Metacritic error that the player took advantage of to criticize Bethesda and its space title.

“Bethesda – because making games that work first time is less important than figuring out all the ways to extract the most money possible from your bank account,” wrote Joppsta360.

Later, he mocked the premiere of Fallout 76 and predicted that Starfield He will go through a similar situation in his debut. Obviously, Joppsta360 hasn’t played the new Bethesda title, so he just wanted to show off his trolling skills.

“The edition Starfield Super Special 76 includes the expected disappointment. It comes with a shot glass so you can participate in the recurring drinking game. Take a drink every time Todd Howard lies. Or don’t, you’ll be dead from alcohol poisoning within 5 minutes of the 20-minute masterpiece spotlighting yet another Bethesda disaster,” Joppsta360 added.

Following the publication of this unfortunate “review”, Metacritic took action on the matter and removed it. It is very likely that you have also made the pertinent corrections so that this situation does not occur again with Starfield nor with another future release.
