Square Enix announces a free game that can be controlled by voice thanks to an AI

If you are one of those gamers who are looking for fresh proposals, let us tell you that Square Enix has something very special for you. We are referring to an interesting free game that you can control with your voice thanks to the use of artificial intelligence.

As you surely know, more and more people are hearing about AIs and little by little they are making their way into the daily life of the community. Now, it was Square Enix who wanted to take advantage of this technology to use it in a game.

We refer to The Portopia Serial Murder Casea graphic novel originally released for the NES and developed by Yuji Horii himself, creator of Dragon Quest, which will return with an improved version.

As you could see, The Portopia Serial Murder Case is an interesting experiment by Square Enix to test its newly developed artificial intelligence called Natural Language Processing (NLP). This to allow game users to talk normally with any NPC.

Best of all, this title will be completely free and anyone interested will be able to enjoy it from the day it is released at the end of this week.

It is worth mentioning that in the game each gamer must solve a murder mystery by looking for clues, exploring different areas, interacting with characters and solving puzzles.

The Portopia Serial Murder Case It will arrive next Sunday, April 23 on PC, via Steam, and it will be completely free.
