Spotify has an event called Stream On pending, but it seems that heThe company was in a bit of a rush to release a new feature simply called DJ. This feature, as we read in Tech Crunchit is still a random music system, but with a DJ using artificial intelligence.
As we read, the operation of this feature will be as follows; the app will search for music that its algorithm thinks we like, thus providing a personalized experiencebut comments will be added using artificial intelligence -as in the case of a real DJ- which will feature an “impressively realistic” voice.
Obviously, like practically everything that is being launched lately with capabilities of this type, the artificial intelligence is the work of OpenAI, and is only available in English for Spotify Premium users in the US and Canadaso there is still a long time left for us to see an adaptation of this feature in other countries like Spain, among other places.
In the future, this feature is expected to be treated like traditional radio, where we don’t want to have to deal with playlists or the different formats that Spotify offers, to simply have music that we like in a format that we already know and know works.
