The Spanish video game studio Lynx Worksresponsible of the aragami franchisehas announced its closure as a result of the economic context of the last two years, leaving projects under development unfinished.

Lince Works, based in Barcelona, ​​is responsible for Aragami (2016) and Aragami 2 (2021), a franchise of action and adventure based on stealth mechanics in the third person, in which the player puts himself in the shoes of an assassin with the power to control shadows.

The study announced this Tuesday its closure after nine years of workalthough it has confirmed that it will keep the two Aragami games on the platforms where they are available, including the cooperative ‘online’ game mode.

However, as they have explained through social networksthey will stop working on new projects “indefinitely from April“, as a consequence of the economic context of the last two years, which have been “particularly difficult”.

The study has regretted that all the work it has done in the last year “will not finally come to fruition”; included two new IPs under development and the plans give a new direction for the company.
