Sony Unveils Backbone One Wireless Controller for iPhone, Compatible with PlayStation

PlayStation VR2 allows you to create custom play areas and get to know your environment without removing your headset

Sony has introduced Blackbone One – PlayStationan officially licensed portable controller for playing games on this console and designed specifically for iPhone.

To develop this controller, which connects with the mobile device through PS Remote Play, the company has been inspired by the aspect of the wireless controller Dual Sense of the PlayStation 5 (PS5), made in white.

As explained it’s a statementin order to use it, you only need to have access to broadband internet and a PlayStation 4 (PS4) console or the newest model, PS5.

Next, the iPhone must be connected to the Blackbone One, to start playing through PS Remote Play, either at home or outside of it.

Sony has indicated that Backbone One also works with games from the App Store and other game streaming services that support controllers, such as Genshin Impact, Fantasy either Call Of Duty: Mobile.


For a personalized experience, players will be able to download the Backbone app through the AppStore. Within the ‘app’, they will have several PlayStation integrations, as well as a search engine to search for titles compatible with the controller, as well as upcoming releases.

Backbone One – PlayStation Edition will be available from its launch, whose date has not yet been specified, in SpainUnited States, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Sweden, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, France, United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
