Sony has closed the purchase agreement of the video game developer Bungiewhich has recently been officially integrated into the family of its console, PlayStation.
Both companies have completed this acquisition through their social networks, where they have announced this change months after Sony announced its intention to buy Bungie last January.
At that time, the Japanese conglomerate reached an agreement to buy this independent publisher for a value of $3.6 billion (about 3,556 million euros at the current exchange rate).
Then, the president and CEO of Bungie, Pete Parsons, recalled that from this company they would continue to develop and edit their titles independently. “Our games will continue to be where our community is, wherever they choose to play,” he added.
