Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) Spain has opened the deadline for receiving projects for the 11th edition of the PlayStation Awards, a competition that will award 10,000 euros to the game considered Best Video Game of the Year.
The call is aimed at small studios and young Spanish developers and seeks the most original indie video game projects, as well as recognizing the work of the Spanish industry in this field.
In this way, participants will be able to aspire to a prize of 10,000 euros to finance the video game they present, which is delivered in the category of Best Game of the Year.
This 11th edition of the awards will also feature a jury made up of professionals and renowned personalities in this sector, art, music and communication, as explained in a press release.
In total, eight awards will be given, including the award for Best Game of the Year, Best Original Idea, Best Art, Best Game for the Press and Best Physical Edition. The list is completed by the award for Best Game in the Spanish Industry and Best Career.
SIE Spain has finally commented that the registration period The PlayStation Talents Awards have already started and will remain open until September 30th. The awards will be decided in December.
