The expected video game sonic frontiers It is now available on all consoles. This is a new 3D open world installment that puts Sonic in front of a new mission: cross five vast islands and find the Chaos Emeralds.
To celebrate the launch, SEGA has shared a series of Sonic Frontiers Speed Strats videos, giving you some tips to get you going on the adventure. In turn, it explains some of the characteristics of the first episode.
challenges – Players can participate in various challenges to unlock new parts of the map, ways to fast travel, and rewards. Unlocking the map can help you find Guardians, Cyber Space portals, Memory Tokens, and much more. To find a challenge, look for the red circle with a question mark indicator. Please note that some challenges can only be attempted at night, which will be indicated by a moon icon.
Cyloop – The Cyloop can be used to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, generate rings, and collect collectibles. Players can Cyloop around spots with a treasure chest icon for a chance to unlock tons of memory tokens, portal gears, vault keys, and much more. By drawing an infinity symbol with the light trail, Sonic will gain an infinite boost meter for a short time. Players can also unlock Sonic’s Power Boost by collecting the maximum number of rings they can have.
rail release – Rails unlocked in challenges can be used as another form of fast travel. To launch yourself down the rails, find a rail with a steep slope and activate Sonic’s Power Boost to take shortcuts and reach higher areas with ease. It is best to hold both the boost and jump button while going up.
Kocos Help – As you find lost Kocos, bring them to the Elder Koco to improve your speed and ring ability. By leveling up over time, you can unlock abilities including faster wall climbing, extra health against enemies, and the ability to use Power Boost forever without needing to max out rings. Bring the Red Attack Seeds and Blue Defense Seeds to Hermit Koco to receive useful combat upgrades.
Drop Dash – For the first time, Sonic Mania’s Drop Dash comes in 3D. The Drop Dash is especially useful when you’re trying to scale cliffs and mountains, as the sudden burst of speed will launch you upwards. You can also use it to roll down the hills with ease.
starfall event – This special event takes place on random nights and enemies and items will respawn in open areas. During this time, a slot machine will appear on the screen, and by collecting fallen star pieces, Sonic will be able to use the slot machine as an opportunity to get purple coins for fishing.
fast travel – In the Big the Cat Fishing Game, players can pick up Elder Koco or Hermit Koco Scrolls at the Fishing Ponds, allowing them to instantly teleport to them from the map’s fast travel page. Fully unlocking the map allows you to fast travel between the Cyber Space portals and the Fishing Point.
