With the launch of the Google Pixel Watch, We saw how the watch only had the ability to be charged with its own included charger., without being able to charge it wirelessly. However, some users are seeing how this is not exactly the case, as they are able to charge their watches with Qi chargers.
This is strange, since Google has maintained its position that Pixel Watch can’t charge wirelesslyand they have explained that, although the watches may indicate that they are charging, they may actually be receiving very little charge, or in the worst case, discharge while they are “connected” to the charger.
It is unknown why this is happening, but it is most likely that at some point in development it was expected to introduce wireless charging to these watches.but was ultimately limited to the Qi charging pad that comes bundled with the watchso in some cases it can be charged at the same rate as with the included charger, but in other cases it cannot.
Other charging methods that have been seen to work with the Pixel Watch are the reverse wireless charging of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, as well as with some power banks.
