As we are seeing in the first impressions of several owners of the new Nothing Phone (1)it seems that the terminal of Carl Pei’s company, Nothing, has certain similarities with some release from OnePlus, also from Carl Peiand it is that there are several users who are complaining about problems with the screens of the new terminal.
For now, these problems have manifested themselves in two ways, the one coinciding with OnePlus and other brands being that of a green tint on the screen that ends up being quite annoying, although on the other handsome users are seeing how their screens have dead pixels around the hole for the camera.
It is unknown if these two problems are related to each other, but they usually affect the same component, which would be the screen. Similarly, in the event that the green tint is caused by a software problem, it could be solved with an update, but dead pixels have a manifestly hardware lookso the affected terminals require repair or replacement.
It is certainly not a good start for the new Nothing Phone (1), but it will be necessary to see if it is really a generalized problem, a problem derived from a batch of defective terminals, or simply defective units in a sea of good terminals.
