The graphics manufacturer GALAX is preparing a new expansion of its line of RTX 4070 series graphics cards called “classical“where what draws the most attention is a basic and very sober design with a cooling system of conventional turbine. They thus move away from designs with multiple fans, RGB and angled shapes, to create cards that could go unnoticed in any data center or PC from a few years ago.
The most powerful model in this series will be the GALAX RTX 4070 TI SUPER, and there will also be an inferior model based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU.
The speeds of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER model are 2,610 MHz Boost, with 21 Gbps for the 16 GB of GDDR6X memory, while the RTX 4070 SUPER variant remains at 2,475 MHz with 12 GB of GDDR6X at the same speed.
We can see the large block of fins through which the air sent by the fan located at one end passes.. Part of that block of fins is exposed and it is not closed, so GPU cooling could benefit at the expense of not expelling all the hot air out of the case.
Both variants occupy two slots wide and 28 cm long, and have three DisplayPort ports and one HDMI on a large air outlet that draws attention to the rear.
There are no details on their price or whether they will go outside China’s borders.
