Qualcomm has shown several new features recently, where we have been able to see for example the next generation of high-performance smartphone processors, as well as its advances in artificial intelligence. However, given the great push that Windows on ARM is having, no wonder Qualcomm wanted to push there as well.
That is why we find the new Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3some processors that arrive renewed from the inside out, to the point of releasing a new CPU architecture called Oryonwhich comes to replace the Kryo cores that populated all Qualcomm processors on the market to date.
In the same way as in the case of smartphones, we find dedicated artificial intelligence in these chipswhich will help us to correct and carry out certain actions that in a standard x86 processor would require too many resources to be feasible, such as gaze correction in video calls, AI noise suppression, or automatic framing.
It is to be expected that, in the same way that AI performance is increased, the new Oryon cores have a higher performance than we found in the Kryo cores of the previous generation of these processors.
