The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, has undergone a second operation this Friday and continues on Serious conditionAs reported by the Minister of Defense, Robert Kaliňák. The Slovak leader is aware, he has specified.
Fico remains stable within gravity, in a condition “very serious”. “He has serious injuries,” added the Minister of Defense.
“Although I am not a doctor, I feel that things are better because I see him better,” he explained.

Regarding how Fico is going to evolve, the director of the hospital where he is admitted has assured that unknown. It takes “several days” to know in which direction the leader’s health continues, he added.
“The prime minister is just another patient, like any other person. Every morning the medical team evaluates the situation,” he explained without giving details.

Kaliňák revealed at a press conference that Slovakia has received proposals from several countries to transfer Robert Fico to a better hospital abroad with more specialized doctors. He thanked them for the offers but assured that they have “absolute confidence” in the ability of Slovak doctors.
