CHINA
Six people, including three children, were stabbed to death this morning at a kindergarten in the southeastern province of Guangdong, China. So far the motives for the attack are unknown. Police have already arrested a 25-year-old man, identified by the surname Wu, who lives in the town of Lianjiang. The adult victims are a teacher and two parents.
IRAN – AFGHANISTAN
Tehran publicly executed two men this weekend at the same location where a deadly attack took place in October 2022. The procedure took place at the Shah Cheragh mausoleum in Shiraz, where 13 people were killed and many more injured. The confessions of the two Afghans, Mohammad Ramez Rashidi and Naeem Hashem Qatali, among the 26 detainees, were obtained by force.
INDONESIA – SINGAPORE
Jakarta and Singapore will begin in 2024 the joint development of a floating solar park in Batam, in the Riau archipelago. The goal is to generate around two gigawatts of electricity, which will be transported via undersea cables. If the timing is respected, Batam will be the first Indonesian island to have a large-scale commercial photovoltaic (PV) plant.

South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol travels to Lithuania today where he will attend a NATO summit to strengthen the collaboration between the Atlantic bloc and the alliances of the Far East.
