The concept of stories is already well known to all, either on Instagram, on WhatsApp, on Facebook, or the defunct Twitter stories that were not successful and they were banished from the social network among ridicule. Nevertheless, Signal is not giving up, and proceeds to launch this feature in its own messaging app.
In the same way that it happens in WhatsApp, Signal will allow us to add stories to our profilessomething that comes after a month of beta testing, and They will work in a totally intuitive way, being exactly the same as what we find in other applications.
Signal stories will last 24 hours, but they can be removed before, we can share photos, videos or text with our contacts, and will be backed by the end-to-end encryption that characterizes the application, something that in the case of WhatsApp is not like that, because in its case only the chats are encrypted.
Signal stories are rolling out to Android and iOS users, while users accessing the web version of the service will have to wait. but probably not much, as the company itself admits that it is a highly requested feature.
