Sheinbaum tells executives at a business summit that foreign investments “are safe” in Mexico

( in Spanish) – The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, affirmed that foreign investments are safe in our country. During his morning conference this Wednesdaythe president briefly recounted the CEO Dialogue summit she held with Mexican and American leaders and businessmen in Mexico City.

“We want to invest in Mexico, investments in Mexico will be safe, there will be certainty of all kinds,” the president explained and added that the dialogue will continue to continue improving different aspects that arise.

The president said that her Government does not seek to be authoritarian and that the country will have certainty for investments. He highlighted that the meeting, which took place this Tuesday at the Mexican National Palace, was productive and reflected a frank relationship between the Government and businessmen.

He also said that at the meeting, working groups were raised on issues such as border crossings and road insecurity.

The president explained that relations with the United States Embassy are being coordinated with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Juán Ramón de la Fuente.

Previously, Sheinbaum he noted in a conference on Tuesday that at the summit, his Government outlined its investment strategy and that four investments of around US$20 billion were announced in Mexico by 2025.
