Sharkoon has shown us at Computex 2023 its new line of mechanical keyboards with no more and no less than 8 new models of the Skiller gaming line. Most are variants of the Skiller SGK50 with colorful designs accompanied by mats in similar colors. All of them have a compact layout of 75% of a normal keyboard.
The first of them is him Skiller SGK50 S3D1, a model in compact format that comes with a mat to match its green colors with orange touches. It includes Gateron mechanical switches, but they can be replaced by 3-pin and 5-pin switches thanks to its multi-pin PCB system.
The base allows for ISO or ANSI layouts and sits on a polycarbonate plate and silicone silencers. The keys are made of PBT and it is accompanied by support for opensource software.
On the other hand, the Skiller SGK50 S3D2 changes its design with black and red keys along with a matching mat, but maintains the rest of the specifications of the S3D1 variant. Ditto for the Skiller SGK50 S3D3, which transitions to a reddish color scheme alongside a mousepad that features a landscape in the same design.
The Skiller SGK50 S3 adds pre-built stabilizers and a coiled USB-C cable with aviator plug.
There is also the S3D5 finished in shades of gray and green.
The Skiller SGK20 is a full-format RGB keyboard with 15 pre-installed effects, mechanical switches, and gaming software with macros. It has a meshed cable with textile fiber and USB connectivity.
However, if we want to build a keyboard to our liking, Sharkoon will also sell its Skiller SGK50 S4 in Barebone format, with only the PCB and the structure, for the user to choose the 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches of their preferred brand and performance. The same for the keys, which it does not bring and we must choose ourselves. It is compatible with most hot pull mechanical switches on the market.
