Several users report that their RTX 3080 TI has been damaged by the Diablo IV beta

Some graphics users NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti have been notified that their cards have been damaged after playing the Diablo IV beta. Although the causes are still unclear, it seems that the lack of FPS capping in the menu could cause the graphics to overload and crash, although several conditions would possibly have to be met for that.

Some users comment that the bug appears after about 20 minutes of play, specifically in the chapel scene. Interestingly, most of the users had Gigabyte graphics like the RTX 3080 Ti Vision OC 12Gso it could be a specific problem with some soldering or component, or driver failures.
