March 19 () –

At least six people have been arrested in Paris during protests this Sunday against the controversial pension reform of the Government of President Emmanuel Macron.

The arrests were carried out in the Les Halles area of the French capital during Sunday afternoon-night in a mobilization called by social networks, French media reported.

Also during the afternoon, another group of protesters gathered in Châtelet, Paris, despite the significant deployment of security forces.

In Nice there was also a rally this Sunday in front of the office of the deputy of the Republicans Eric Ciotti, reports Radio Nice Côte d’Azur. The protesters seek to pressure the elected office so that it does not vote in favor of the pension reform.

This Sunday the authorities have once again imposed restrictions on protests and, as happened on Saturday, it will be prohibited to demonstrate on Monday in the Parisian Place de la Concorde and in the vicinity of the Champs Elysees.

The demonstration called by the Southern Railway Federation in the Place de la Concorde may be held in the Place Vauban. The act of the Plaza Edouard Herriot convened by Los Patriotas may be held in the Plaza del Santo Sulpicio.
