Sep. 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Iraqi Armed Forces have reported the death of seven suspected Islamic State “terrorists” in an airstrike in Yalayat, in Anbar province, in eastern Iraq.
“The heroic hawks in the air have destroyed the target and turned it into rubble (…). There were seven Islamic State criminals, including the leader of one of these criminal gangs, Hamud Hamada Ali Huwaish, alias ‘Abu Nihad'” , the Army has reported.
Members of the 19th Infantry Brigade of the Fifth Division are already in place to search the place, an “important lair” discovered by the Directorate of Military Intelligence.
On the other hand, two “terrorists”, including a high command of the Islamic State, Mohamed Rachid Yasem, alias ‘Abu Fatima’, have been killed in an attack by military troops in Salahudin province, reports the Iraqi news agency INA.
An explosives factory was discovered in that same region this Saturday. Iraqi forces have destroyed the facilities and have launched a search operation in the area.
