“Colombia’s startup ecosystems are becoming an important engine for the country’s economy, with various initiatives to support entrepreneurship at both the national and municipal levels,” the report specified.

Given the country’s entrepreneurial landscape, Eli David, CEO of StartupBlink stated that “Bogotá is becoming a central regional hub”.

Globally, the Top 20 by country was integrated as follows. In first place the United States, followed by the United Kingdom, Israel, Canada, Sweden, Singapore, Germany, France, Australia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, China, Finland, Estonia, Spain, Ireland, Lithuania, Japan, Denmark, and South Korea.
It is noteworthy that in the Top 50 appear: Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. For their part, nations such as Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Panama stood out in the Top 100.
