Hospital sources have indicated that the man has suffered a head injury and added that he is in serious but stable condition, according to the Israeli newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’.
The event comes after a series of attacks between mid-March and early May that left nearly 20 dead in Israel, including five killed in an attack in Bnei Brak.
On the other hand, the family of a Palestinian resident in the Gaza Strip has denounced his death after a beating at the hands of Israeli soldiers near the separation fence in the West Bank city of Tulkarem, without the Israeli authorities having ruled on the matter. .
The deceased, identified as Ahmad Harb Ayad, was beaten after trying to illegally cross the fence, according to his family, who stressed that the Army delivered the body on Monday night through the Erez border crossing, as reported the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
For its part, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry has condemned Ayad’s death and has held the Government of Israel “directly” responsible, while asking the United Nations and the international community to give protection to Palestinians residing in the Palestinian Territories. Busy.
