MADRID 9 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Joint Chiefs of Staff of the South Korean Armed Forces denounced this Saturday that North Korea is interfering for the second consecutive day in the GPS signal, which affects civil maritime and air navigation.
Dozens of ships and planes have been affected by this interference, coming from the Haeju and Kaesong regions of North Korea, according to the military statement, reported by the South Korean Yonhap news agency.
The affected vehicles, mainly in the Yellow Sea, have already been alerted to these interferences, which, however, would not have affected military operations.
“North Korea should immediately stop GPS provocations,” the South Korean Army has warned, threatening that those responsible “will be held accountable.”
