SEGA showed 8 minutes of extended gameplay from sonic frontiers
Thanks to the new preview we saw how Sonic after solving certain puzzles will unlock routes or sections of the map.
We also saw that the player will be able to encounter huge bosses like the Asura and start a fight with them, but they will be able to escape, leave the battle pending and come back whenever they want. The Cyloop will expose giant opponents’ weak points and Sonic can then use this opportunity to attack.
Something very interesting is that it was revealed that Cyberspace is a kind of ancient archive, which was created with ancient technology and is a kind of compilation of memories of Sonic worldwide. It was also revealed that in the loading screens the player will be able to practice combos or abilities.
In the gameplay it was possible to see the Cyberspace level of the Chemical Plant, an iconic place in the series.
