After “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, Marvel Studios has programmed some productions within the multiverse phase. We will see in theaters on May 5 the tape “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3” and it is expected that the second season of the animated series “What If…?” arrive on the Disney Plus streaming platform in the first half of 2023.
Another important series of the application that will be released in the year is “secret invasion”. This is a production that explores the situation of the Skrulls on Earth, the alien race that lives with humans.
In the tape “Captain Marvel”, it was revealed that it was not an invading group of planets, but that they were persecuted by the Kree race. After failing to find a planet to repopulate, they stayed on Earth.
However, there is a conflict with all the promises given to them by Nick Fury, the intermediary between the two intelligent races. Being characters that can change shape into any human, they are the perfect spies.
Why will the Skrulls attack Earth?
The actress Emilia Clarke spoke with Vanity Fair about the plot of this production. “There are a lot of emotions that live inside of her, and there are a lot of confrontational aspects to her character that come from circumstance. You understand why she has the feelings that she has”, explained the actress.
“Nick had a whole Skrull spy network because they could shapeshift and go places people couldn’t goadded Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury). “They kept their word. They worked for him, but he hasn’t done what he said he was going to do. They want a home. They want to live. They want to live as they are. They want to live in their skin. They don’t want to live in ours”, added the actor.
Possibly, Fury does not want to show his face to the world due to the bad reputation of the Shitauri, those alien invaders who came to Earth in the first Avengers movie.
