Amazon Games has revealed the roadmap that New World will follow in 2023 and it includes the arrival of the seasons, a way of delivering more frequent content that continues to spread among the industry. The seasons will last three months and will be accompanied by new mechanics, functions, experiences, narrative and a season pass with 100 levels and two reward tracks, free and premium (for 20,000 fortune marks). In autumn, in addition to a season, New World will receive an expansion.

“The Season Pass is a new way for players to earn great rewards, just for playing New World,” explains Amazon Games. “Players will earn Seasonal experience, level up, and unlock rewards as they progress through their Seasonal activities. Our goal with the seasons is to always offer something new for each type of player”. Each track of the Season Pass will have 100 tiers of unlockable rewards like new emotes, skins, gear, and more.

The free track of the New World Season Pass is open to all players and grants rewards such as new skins, pets, Marks of Fortune, power-ups, seasonal weapons and armor, Shadow Shards, Age Orbs, and material caches. Players who have reached level 25 will be able to purchase the Premium Pass for more rewards such as cosmetics, additional Marks of Fortune, and seasonal loot. Seasonal experience is achieved through seasonal content, challenges and other activities (quests, bosses, raids…).

The first season of New World is called Brotherhood and Fire and will be available on March 28. Its content will include a new story that will invite players to assemble an elite team of mercenaries called the Silver Ravens to face off against a powerful warlock and the Varangian horde, a campaign that will be followed by a new level 60+ expedition called Forge. empyrean. Seasons will also add new skills, mechanics, events, and main story missions.
