Some time ago, Seasonic launched a product that fell outside the catalog for which the company is known, and this was, neither more nor less, than some quite solvent 120mm fans that allow for good air flow without an excessive noise level. However, the company has been taking note of the requirements of the users.
Now, the Magflow takes its concept of side pins to improve cable distribution, and expand it to add ARGB lighting that does not require extra wiringbeyond the first fan that must communicate with the motherboard through a cable.
Thus, we avoid the use of an additional controller that can distribute the lighting data among several fanssince as we assemble them in their place, such as a radiator with several fans, they will already be in communication with each other, both for the current that makes them work and for the ARGB lighting.
Contrary to what its name may suggest, Magflow fans do not have a magnetic bearing, but an FDB bearing, so they are probably cheaper than if they had a magnetic bearing, something that we can find for example in the Corsair catalog.
