Scholz downplays Musk’s attacks: “let’s not feed the troll”

The German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, did not want to delve into the controversy with the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, after his attacks and his explicit support for the far-right party Alternative for Germany (AfD). Musk is one of the main allies of the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump.

“Let’s not feed the troll,” Scholz said in an interview with the German magazine ‘Stern’. “We must have serenity. We social democrats are very accustomed to the fact that rich media businessmen who do not value social democratic policies do not hide their opinions,” he argued.
