A quick movement to block the leaking waterway in the Government on account of the ‘only yes is yes’ law. After the head-on clash this week between the two wings of the coalition and the breakdown of the progressive majority in Congress in the admission for processing of the reform proposed by the PSOE –which came out ahead thanks to the PP and the PNV-, the order of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, has been to try to shelve the crisis as soon as possible. The instruction of the head of the Executive to the socialist ministers and to his own party is to avoid new public clashes with United We Can and lower the tone of the last days. The first consequence will be the imminent agreement on the pension reform, which according to the sources consulted is very advanced. And immediately afterwards it is intended to close one of the most important laws for the left, that of housing, which drags on months of negotiations between the socialists and United We Can. In the most critical week for the Government, Sánchez has asked to specify the pending reforms to turn the page as soon as possible on the earthquake generated around the norm on sexual freedom, which will continue to be processed in Congress, without the two wings of the Government seeing Possible short-term agreement.
