This Friday, Pedro Sánchez took another step in recognizing the State of Palestine and asked Europe to set an example of leadership before the world in the defense of international humanitarian law. “We must show the world that in Europe there are also coherent actors who defend respect for the international order in all cases,” he said in reference to the lukewarm stance of the Biden administration, which he did not expressly mention.
