Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 It is shaping up to be one of the most important and striking video games of the second half of 2023. Its launch is relatively close, so those responsible are less and less shy about sharing details of the story and gameplay. So, a new trailer sheds light on what we can expect from the story arc.
A few weeks ago, we told you that the long-awaited Insomniac Games video game would have a special panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, the famous convention focused on comics, video games, series, and movies.
During this Thursday, July 20, developers, creatives, and voice actors gathered to share new information about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Fortunately, there was also room to see a spectacular new trailer dedicated to the story.

The advance shows Peter Parker and Miles Morales, who will be the protagonists of this new adventure. Apparently, Harry Osborn will be one of the key pieces of the new narrative arc. The last seconds focus on who will be 2 of the most important villains: Kraven and Venom.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set 9 months after the events of Miles Morales.
During the panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, members of the studio revealed very interesting information about the history of the new open world title. Specifically, they confirmed that the game will be set 9-10 months after the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
“What’s really cool is that you have Pete and Miles, who are already a well-oiled machine and a great team supporting each other to protect the city. At the same time, there’s a lot going on in his life outside of the mask,” said Bryan Intihar, Senior Creative Director at Insomniac Games.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 it will also pick up the events seen in the prequel comic that debuted a few months ago.
